Even during these challenging and extraordinary times for all of us, IT-Choice Software AG remains committed to continued growth. Between March 2020 and April 2021, eight new employees were hired in the areas of software development, customer support, sales, and product & project management. These new team members were successfully onboarded remotely during the nationwide lockdowns – thanks to the flexibility and tremendous dedication of our employees.
We are increasingly hiring new employees nationwide as well, since we want to take advantage of the new forms of flexible collaboration that have emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have learned that we don’t always have to be in the same place to work together effectively.

Software development, customer support, and project work from home
The impact of the global pandemic and the nationwide lockdown in Germany took us all by surprise. We were all the more fortunate that our management board acted immediately and equipped all employees as early as the beginning of March 2020 with the latest technical equipment – such as laptops, headsets, and cameras – as well as excellent software tools, enabling us to work comfortably and truly efficiently from home. Thanks to our agile approach, which has been a fundamental aspect of our daily work for years, we were also able to digitalize our workflows very quickly and effectively.
Scrum events, team meetings, and even coffee breaks with colleagues were organized purely virtually from one day to the next. Our software development, customer support, and project work all continued as usual, with no restrictions for our customers. Even customer training sessions were conducted via web conference, and digital user conferences were organized. The feedback from our customers has been very positive, which actually gives us an advantage when it comes to organizing new, more flexible, and time-saving client meetings across Germany and Switzerland.
